  • March 2019
    Accepted into the Graduate Musical Theater Writing Program of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, New York, USA.
     

  • September 2018                                                                              
    Worked as a music director for the movie "Jesus" directed by Hiroshi Okuyama. My main tasks involved selecting and arranging hymns, and playing the piano. The movie won the Kutxabank-New Directors Award in the San Sebastián Festival, the Best Cinematography in the Stockholm Film Festival and Special Mention in the 3rd International Film Festival & Awards Macao in 2018, and the Best Cinematography in the Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival in 2019. This movie has screening time in Japan, Spain, South Korea, and France this year.
     

  • June 18-29, 2018
    Attended the Summer Songwriters Workshop in NYU Steinhardt, New York, USA. Composed a song called “Alone Together” with a classmate. We performed the song live in “SongShare Concert” a culminating event of the workshop after it had been chosen, along with a few other entries, by our professors.  

 

  • March 2018
    Graduated from Tokyo College of Music with a bachelor’s degree in Music major in Composition (Movie & Broadcasting).
     

  • June 18-29, 2017
    Attended the Summer Songwriters Workshop in NYU Steinhardt, New York, USA. Together with classmate-collaborators, I composed “Contagious” (pop), and “Across the Room” (ballad).  We got to perform the two songs in the workshop’s concert called “SongShare”.

 

  • October 2014                                                                            Composed a rock song for the short film, “GRADUATION PARTY!!!!”, directed by Hiroshi Okuyama and which won the Best Film Award at Kyoto International Film and Art Festival.
     

  • April 2008-March 2014                                                          Accompanied hymns and provided prelude and postlude music for school church services on weekdays as an organist in Aoyama Gakuin High School.      

 

  • 2013- Present
    Composed 60 vocal and instrumental songs and a    rranged more than 10 songs in String Quartet, Latin, Funk, Reggae, Ballad, and Rock.
